Ways to use the picture list

You can use the picture list to view all open pictures in Microsoft PhotoDraw. You can also use it when you want to do the following:

Switch between pictures To view another open picture on the workspace, simply click its thumbnail in the picture list. Switch to another picture in the picture list

Close pictures   If you're finished working on a picture, you can close it from the picture list. Close a picture on the picture list

View each object in a picture   If you want to see thumbnails of all the objects in each picture, you can open the object list. Open or close the object list

After you open the object list for a picture, you can:

Select hidden objects   If objects in a picture are stacked on top of one another, it may be difficult to select the one you want. To select the object, you can click its thumbnail in the object list. Select an object in the picture list

Reorder objects   If you want to quickly move objects in front of or behind other objects in the workspace, you can drag their thumbnails up or down in the object list. Reorder objects by using the picture list

Reuse objects   If you want to copy an object in an open picture to your active picture, you can drag the object's thumbnail onto the workspace. You can also drop an object thumbnail onto a picture thumbnail. Copy an object from the picture list

If the picture or object lists get in your way when you work, you can:

Move the picture list   By default, the picture list is docked along the left side of the PhotoDraw workspace. Drag the picture list to a new location

Hide the picture list   To make more room on your workspace, you can temporarily hide the picture list. Show or hide the picture list
